My professional career has covered the gamut from Management Analyst for the government to Systems Analyst for an aircraft manufacturer to professional pilot for a major airline. The flying started as a hobby which turned into a passion. I had the good luck to be able to turn my passion into a 30-year career. Because of that though, retirement presented me with a dilemma. What do you do next when you’ve already had your dream job?

When casting about for a new direction in my life, I discovered the profession of Organizing. After looking into it a bit, I posed the idea to some friends at dinner one night. Almost in unison they replied “Lynn, you’d be perfect for that”. So I joined NAPO, the National Association of Professional Organizers, and took some of the many courses they offer. This training made me realize that much of my early job experience was directly related to the organizing profession. As a Management Analyst: paperwork reduction, work flow design, office layouts, time/motion study. As a Systems Analyst: data and information flow, computer input and report design, time management. As a hobby: helping friends with reorganizing kitchens, home staging and new home layouts. In one way or another, I’ve been organizing for people my whole life.

I created The Organizing Lifeline LLC in 2008 to help you restore a sense of order and simplicity in your home or office. I love to organize! But the real reward for me in providing these services is sharing the joy of accomplishment and relief that you feel after tackling a job that has been weighing on you. I’ve found that I am passionate about helping people.

Once again I have turned a passion into a profession.
